Angus’ experience includes over eight years working on large scale civil projects both in New Zealand and internationally.
Following several years working in the United Kingdom, Angus recently returned to New Zealand with a view to building on his construction and infrastructure experience which includes working both consultant and main contractor side on a variety of commercial, roading and rail related projects.
Angus started his career as a civil engineer with Tonkin & Taylor, gaining valuable industry experience in geotechnical engineer, construction phase support engineer and structure scheme engineer roles before progressing more recently to design management coordination roles.
Whilst based in the UK, Angus worked for Kier Highways as a Structures Scheme Engineer where he was responsible for project delivery from concept design to completion. He was also engaged as Design Manager Coordinator on a JV with ATC (employed by Costain). This role covered all aspects of design from overseeing, management, closeout and design input and subcontractor coordination.
