An ME (Civil) qualified Project Manager, with experience gained working within New Zealand and internationally
With his initial construction industry experience gained during 4 years working for the Waikato Regional Council as a Civil Engineer and Project Manager, during this timeTheo managed the Council’s capital works programme for flood protection schemes, managing all aspects of the corporate project management framework from concept to completion.
Recent experience includes Project Manager roles for a 5 star Auckland Airport hotel, a car showroom facility and a warehouse facility.
Theo’s career has also taken him overseas, including in the UK where he worked for Pell Frischmann as a project manager for the design of engineering/automation upgrades for water and sewage works in Bath. In this role, he was based in-house with the client, Wessex Water who meet the daily water needs of around 3 million people in the southwest of England. Also during his time overseas, Theo, learnt to speak fluent French, whilst working for a year as Operations Manager for a French property company in Morzine (in the French Alpes), where he was the primary client contact for issues and queries relating to approximately 80 properties for 300 clients.
