Project description:

Scalzo Foods is Australia’s largest independently owned ingredients company and has been operating in New Zealand for over 20 years. Highbrook Development Limited undertook construction of Scalzo’s new national head office and distribution functions within the award winning Highbrook Business Park.

The development consists of a 4,500m² warehouse and 600m² office split across two levels on an 8,000m² corner site at the southern end of the business park. 1,500m² of the warehouse space is dedicated for tenant manufacturing purposes, with the warehouse future-proofed for further expansion.

The development also contains 1,223m² yard space, of which around 25% is covered by a large canopy and 42 customer and staff carparks.

The development was successfully completed in March 2012, on time and to budget, and with a clean health & safety record.
