Waikato Innovation Park, Tetra Pak Development

Client: Waikato Innovation Park
Timeframe: Completed January 2016
Total value: $8.2m

Components: Development of a new purpose built commercial office, standalone workshop and yard

Project description:

Waikato Innovation Park is owned by Hamilton City Council. The park is a developing business campus.
This project involved the development of a new purpose built commercial office and standalone workshop and yard which is adjoined by a small link way. The design needed to satisfy the needs of a sole tenant but provide flexibility to remove the link and split the two buildings for future tenants/purpose groups if required.
The tenant fit out has been designed around a large multipurpose central hub café/ kitchen. This space encourages both workshop and office staff to socialise in central breakout space. This space will also be used for company staff meetings and presentations and display company product.
The project was completed and occupied by Tetra Pak on time in late January 2016.
